(24.06.) The 2020 #TCSNYCMarathon, set to take place on November 1, has been canceled. Due to coronavirus-related health and safety concerns for runners, spectators, volunteers, staff, and the many partners and communities that support the event, and in partnership with the Mayor’s Office of the City of New York, we made the difficult decision to cancel the world’s largest marathon.

Celebrate the 50th New York City Marathon with Us in 2020!
The 2020 TCS New York City Marathon will be the race’s 50th running, and preparations are underway for a thrilling celebration.
The application period for the 2020 TCS New York City Marathon is January 30 through February 13, 2020, with a drawing to follow on February 26, 2020.
The TCS New York City Marathon is the largest marathon in the world and the signature event of New York Road Runners (NYRR), the world’s premier community running organization. The race is held annually on the first Sunday of November and includes over 50,000 runners, from the world’s top professional athletes to runners of all ages and abilities, including over 9,000 charity runners. Participants from over 125 countries tour the diverse neighborhoods of New York City’s five boroughs—Staten Island, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Manhattan.

Ātrajiem skrējējiem jāsteidz reģistrēties, jo “Non-NYRR Time Qualifiers are first-come, first-serve and should apply as soon as the application is open”.
