Cork, a city with the same vibrant spirit as Dublin, may be Ireland’s second city, but as the unofficial ‘real capital’, its countless attractions and attributes frequently place it at the top of the polls.
The 26.2 mile flat course will take runners on an exploration of the city centre; the historic suburbs of the city and after passing the historical 19th-century stone edifice that is University College Cork, participants will cross the finish line on St Patrick Street, Cork’s main street, to the cheers of thousands of enthusiastic supporters.
