Start and finish are in the same point – on one of the largest European boulevards, in front of the Parliament Palace. The building, also known as “Ceausescu’s Palace”, holds 3 world records, being the 2nd biggest, the 3rd most massive and the most expensive administrative building. Large boulevards with communistic architecture alternate with small streets and beautiful old buildings with French, neo-classical architecture – reason why Bucharest city used to be called “Little Paris”. You can see and feel all of these, as the entire running course (completely closed to cars traffic) passes through the very heart of the city.
