14. INTERNATIONAL HALF MARATHON RUN 2013 NIDA

A traditional International Half Marathon run of Nida is organized every last Saturday of September by the municipality of Nida, LLAF, VšĮ NIDOS PUSĖS MARATONO BĖGIMAS and Klaipeda’s city running club ‘Maratonas’.
ROUTE

Asphalt – city streets and bicycle path (4 circles), proved by IAAF.
PARTICIPANTS

Any person, who’s 18 and older, may take part in the Half Marathon Run. 3km, 2km and 1km run – for children under 18 years. “Fun Run” is available for everyone.
RESPONSIBILITY

All registered participants accept competition rules; the organizers are not responsible for injuries (traumas) suffered during the run; everyone takes responsibility for his (her) health upon undersigning the registration list.

AGE GROUPS

– Half Marathon Run:
Women: 1994-1995; 1979-1993; 1969-1978; 1959-1968; 1958 and older
Men: 1994-1995; 1974-1993; 1969-1973; 1964-1968; 1959-1963; 1954-1958; 1949-1953; 1944-1948; 1943 and older
– “Fun Run” (5.4 km):
no specified age groups
– For children and youths:
3 km: 1996-1997 – M+W; 1998-1999 – M
2 km: 1998-1999 – W; 2000-2001 – M+W
1 km: 2002 and older – M+W
START AND FINISH

On the square near the municipality of Nida – all participants must be at the start place on 28th of September till 10:50.
At 11:00 – start of Half Marathon Run and “Fun Run” (5.4 km).
At 11:10 – start for children (1 km, 2 km and 3 km).
DISTRIBUTION OF START NUMBERS

Start numbers will be distributed in information center “Agila” of Nida:
on 27th of September from 15:00 to 21:00.
on 28th of September from 8:00 to 10:30.
REGISTRATION

Filling in a registration form at http://www.nidospusemaratono.lt/. Electronic registration deadline – 26th of September. On 27th of September registration in information center “Agila” in Nida at 15:00-21:00. For foreigners there will be a possibility to pay start fee on 26th and 27th of September at start numbers distribution.
