Mājas lapa: 35th Telekom Vivicittá Spring Half Marathon [TIEK PĀRCELTS!]

Treniņu plāns pusmaratonam:

A green and flowery park hosts the start and the finish area while the Half Marathon course will pass by Budapest’s best sights. Completing the distance is essentially a running sightseeing tour as you run across the Chain Bridge, past the castle, Parliament and many other famous buildings.
There are over 30.000 participants on all the distances, with more than 9000 half marathon runners, 6000 Vivicitta (10 km) and 5000 Midicitta (7 km) runners. However, no need to worry about crowding and overtaking as the start is done in waves so everyone has plenty of space to run.

The Vivicitta Spring Half Marathon is part of a 2-day long event which is all about running. On Sunday runners can choose between a half marathon (21 km), a Vivicitta (10 km) while on Saturday the focus is on shorter races for the less experienced runners.

Arī šis nenotiks plānotajā datumā, acīmredzot! Organizatori sola, ka piektdienas vakarā būšot lielāka skaidrība:

    “Dear Runners,

On 11 March at 2 p.m., Hungary declared a state of emergency in the entire country due to the coronavirus.

In a decree of the Hungarian Government, the implementation of indoor events with over 100 participants and outdoor events with over 500 participants is prohibited until further notice.

This is very new to us. We are constantly watching the news, constantly looking for better solutions. We are now verifying all details with responsible authorities, and on what we should do in preparing for the following period.

We would like to kindly ask you for your patience as this information is very new. We will be informing everyone about the details until this Friday afternoon (13 March) at the latest”

Skaidrs tikai tas, ka meklēs citu datumu. Pavisam neatcels.

“A new date is going to be set for the event. The possible dates are under discussion but it’s not going to be easy to find a suitable time for an event that happens in the capital with the participation of 30,000 runners. As soon as we have the exact date, we will immediately inform all runners through our official channels.

The participants who have already registered to the race have nothing else to do at this point; the previous registrations are valid for the new date as well.
    (…)
At this moment, we are unable to provide more information. That means we cannot answer your questions at any of our channels (emails, messages) regarding the postponed race.
Further information will be available only after we reach a consensus on the new date of the event.
For that, we must consult with the Hungarian authorities.
We would like to ask you to read through our website to find an answer to your question.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.

We sincerely hope to see you soon at the 35th Telekom Vivicittá and to be able to greet you at the finish line! Even in these hard times, we wish you joyful runs and good health until we meet!”
