The 25th hella hamburg half marathon promises once again to be a spectacular sporting event for Hamburg. As one of the “pure” half marathon races in Germany, this fast and classic city race leads past numerous Hamburg tourist attractions and is the second biggest stand alone half marathon in Germany. The start will take place at 10 a.m. on the four-lane Reeperbahn, accompanied by the sound of samba drums, while the skaters will head out on the course 30 minutes earlier. Over 40 artists, musicians, DJs and cheering crews are waiting for you around the course and will bring you to our spectacular finish line at the Expo in Hamburg.
You will tour Hamburg from a new perspective: past the beautiful Elbchaussee, through the traditional Altona fish market, St. Pauli piers, the main train station, along the Aussenalster waterfront and from there back to the finish.
