The Siracusa City Marathon is one of the most important running events in Syracuse and Sicily since 1999. Originally the marathon of Syracuse took place in spring but from some years it is at the end of January. The route of the marathon is beautiful and crosses Ortygia, the historical center of Syracuse and the nature reserve of the Ciane river. The route is pleasant and flat and the arrival and awarding is in Ortigia, near the ancient Apollo temple. Atzīmēt piedalīšanos VSK Noskriet kalendārā, var tikai VSK Noskrien biedri.
